Four years ago the Wilson Center hosted a conference on empirical trade modeling. Leading applied general equilibrium, partial equilibrium, and gravity modelers gathered to talk shop.
In January the Center published a report on the conference: Tools of the Trade: Models for Trade Policy Analysis. This has a seven page technical summary of the conference discussions, and nine pages of abstracts of the 16 papers.
The papers themselves can be accessed at the website the Center set up for the conference: Empirical Trade Analysis Conference: Strengthening Analytical Capabilities to Support Trade Negotiations .
