Will we grow our way out of the Social Security/Medicare problem?

The deterioration of Social Security finances is expected to take place over the next 15 to 50 years. Over that same time span, technologists foresee remarkable progress in computer technology, nanotechnology, and biotechnology. If these pundits are correct, then the economic impact of innovation is likely to swamp the effects of policy changes on our ability to sustain entitlement programs..."
