You ought to try out this site - Radio Economics. This is something new to me - "podcasting." A podcast is apparently a blog with audio files attached to the posts.
Radio Economics is a site run by James Reese of the University of South Carolina Upstate. Reese interviews economists and posts the audio files to his blog.
I listened to an interview with Skip Sauer of Clemson University, who produces the Sports Economist blog. The Sauer interview is maybe 20-30 minutes long. Reese gathered background information on Sauer, posed a series of questions, and gave Sauer the opportunity to talk. The interview is supported with a blog entry providing background, and by a short audio introduction to the interview. Reese is putting a lot of work into producing a quality product. I've followed Sauer's sports blog; it was fun to hear him actually talking.
This is well worth a stop.
